The Gaylord-Hansen Community Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization started by the Gaylord-Hansen Mortgage Team. We are dedicated to providing direct support and services within areas of need in the community.
Our goal is to build connection by promoting awareness, identifying ways to empower our youth, engaging in community improvement, and supporting our military/frontline responders and the community as a whole.
In 2012, Bill Gaylord and Sam Hansen planted the foundation's roots with a small nonprofit called the Gaylord-Hansen Shoe Foundation, where the main goal was to give back to San Diego school kids at an annual New Shoe Event.
After seven successful years, eight southern California Elementary schools, over 5,000 new pairs of shoes, and
a whole lotta smiles, their mission started to expand.
In 2019, the Gaylord-Hansen Community Foundation was born.
Thanks to great success and growth of its main funding source, the Gaylord-Hansen Mortgage Team at loanDepot, the foundation now expands to all areas of the community.
We are on a mission to provide direct support and service to areas of need within our community by going beyond and G.I.V.E. back, together!
